Joyheart Cafe - Taiwan Vegetarian

Vegetarian is a widely available all over Taiwan, from shopping malls to food stalls, while less-so in other countries. I was really delighted to finally find time to swing over to try out Joyheart Cafe today. I ordered their 3 cup mushroom dish and it was really enjoyable. I could tell they used decent cooking oils, it was not heavy, very tasty and of course, very healthy.

This location features the cafe where you can order and dine-in. In the back, is their imported organic and vegetarian grocery store where you can purchase health foods, snacks, beverages, frozen foods to prepare at home.

In addition, Joyheart Cafe offers their meals for ordering. You simply call them or order through LINE, and specify which dishes and quantity, as well as if you prefer to pickup at their San Jose or Cupertino location. I plan to try that next, which will help me on days where I don’t have time to cook.
