ESLite Spectrum - Songyan

3 years ago when I visited this ESLite, it was very small and there wasn’t much, so on this trip I didn’t make it a priority. However, we stopped by today and it’s expanded so much and its offerings are so different from the Xinyi & XiMenDing locations

This ESLite location has a very relaxing and tasteful ChunShuiTang Restaurant, but more impressively features a wide selection of artisan craft workshops you can sign up for.

This location offers:

– Baking facility: choose what you want to make from a menu with prices and all instructions, ingredients and equipment are included while you make it in the workshop

– Glassblowing workshop

– Leatherworking workshop

– Jewelry making workshop

– Wood shop

– Cloth/Emroidery workshop

– Ceramics shop

– Lamp making workshop

– Painting center

All of these workshops are separate boutiques and offer assistance, tools, workspace and guidance.

In addition, there is the usual range of boutique shops, cafes and a food court in the basement. This ESLite location is connected to the ESLite hotel within the Songshan Art & Cultural Creative Center.

We ended up spending an entire day in this ESLite (despite having already shopping the Xinyi, XiMenDing and Dunhua locations). This one is just so different. (We didn’t even have time left over to revisit the rest of Songshan cultural ctr.

Highly recommended for ppl who love arts, crafts, writing instruments, and esoteric things.
